Jul 26, 12 Rive Italian ecovillage gathering

Damanhur welcomes the Rive Italian ecovillage network, here for its annual four-day gathering. Friends and contacts from ecovillages all over Italy as well as individuals interested in alternative and ecological ways of living have converged in Vidracco, the host-town for the gathering where DamanhurCrea and many Damanhurian nucleos are located.

This gathering offers space for established ecovillage projects to share their experiences and for new communities, collaborations and ideas to emerge. Themes for the sessions include: permaculture, synergistic agriculture, the Transition Town movement, ecological and non-violent communication…ecovillagers in a circleworkshops range from beekeeping to 5 Rhythms and Ecstatic Dance to family constellation work.

Participants will also visit Damanhur communities and have the option of experiencing the Temples of Humankind as an example of community collaboration, creativity and ideals in action.
