For the first time, the Damanhur Center Talej in Zagreb, Croatia was present at the specialized FloraArt flower show. This year, it celebrated its 50th anniversary and is one of largest flower exhibitions in the region. For a whole week, our members were present with a Music of the Plants stand, which included plants, Music of the Plants devices, 10,000 leaflets, t-shirts, outdoor speakers and our good will.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAIt was a very interesting experience with numerous visitors. Some of them have heard about it, but the majority was taken by surprise. A whole range of emotions from denial to wholehearted acceptance, joy and excitement were expressed. It is estimated that approximately 50,000 visitors attended the show, and we tried to present them with something really unique.

The big news was not so much about being able to transform those tiny potential differences into tunes to be heard. It was more about opening consciousness to a whole new world of understanding… communicating with and accepting the world of plants from a totally different perspective. During the fair, visitors were able to see the beauty of the colors and smell the fragrance of the plants, and Damanhur has shown them they can also listen to their plants.

The highlight was the arrival of Tigrilla Gardenia, with additional equipment, eager to share her rich experience and deep knowledge about plants. She was available to all who yearned to better understand what is going on with plant perception. She was invited to share her understanding of plants through interviews for radio, TV and print. The last day of her stay, she also used the opportunity to expand her research work and visit a 550 years old tree, the oldest one in Zagreb, to share in its historical memories and secrets.
